Happy Birthday Händel 2022

We are very glad to announce that we are able to organize Happy Birthday Händel on 26th February 2022. Despite the COVID restrictions we have been offered a save modality which allows certainty. Singers and audience need to show proof of vaccination or recovery as well as a negative COVID test upon entry. Even tough this is quite a limitation, once inside we can move without a mask and sit and sing next to each other.

The musical director is Fabian Enders, who successfully directed the Messiah Open-Air in September 2021. As an orchestra we can again engage the Staatskapelle Halle. The soloists are: Anna Maria Wierod, Maria Bieber, Andrew Gavin and Philipp Kaven.

Should the event nevertheless be cancelled at short notice, we will of course be able to reimburse the participation costs. But we do net expect this to happen.

Corona Regulations

You need to show your proof of vaccination or recovery PLUS a negative test before entering the Ulrichskirche on Friday. Also bring your passport and the TicketPay singers ticket. (only 4 pieces of paper!)

The test can be made at various locations in Halle city center, last but not least directly in front of the Ulrichskirche. They are free.

You will then get a wristband from us, that will show you are recovered and vaccinated for entry into the Handel Concert Hall or the Singers Club in the Hallesche Brauhaus for the duration of our event. The tests are valid for 24 hrs, and since we have a 2 day event, you need to test again on Saturday to get into the concert in the evening. And on this note, this rule applies to all those with a booster shot too.

As of 17.02.2022. We reserve the right to make changes.
